Mahesh Nair
Writer, Director & Producer
Mahesh Nair is a writer, director and producer based in Mumbai, India. His documentary on the “Dabbawalas” of Mumbai for BBC World TV received critical acclaim. His recent short film “Hum Dono” (2023) is now streaming on Apple TV.
Mahesh was in the Writer’s Room for a Shah Rukh Khan/Red Chillies Entertainmentmfiction web series. He was also the Creative Head for Maharani, Season 3, a popular fiction series on SonyLiv, created by Subhash Kapoor and Kangra Talkies. He has written two Bollywood feature films, both under production.
As founding member of Confluence Media, a New Delhi based media company, he has co-produced series, films, documentaries and podcasts with the likes of Oscar winner Guneet Monga, Vikram Motwane, Anurag Kashyap, Banijay Asia and BBC World TV. Mahesh was also adviser to Civic Studios, a global media company that is currently producing a British feature film with Gurinder Chadha.
Mahesh is currently writing a book to be published by Bloomsbury.

Creative Producer
Paayal is the Creative Producer at Soul Curry Movies. She oversees script development for feature films, short films and documentaries. She is also the casting director.
Paayal is a well-known actress . She has acted in feature films like Meghna Gulzar’s Chhapaak, Milan Luthria’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Onir’s Sorry Bhai and recently as Indira Gandhi in the film Main Atal Hoon. Her forthcoming work include films with Shoojit Sircar Productions and Marflix Productions.
Her web series appearances include British series Next of Kin for ITV directed by Justin Chadwick, Four More Shots (season 3) on Amazon Prime, Parchaiyan on Zee 5, Hum on Balaji Alt and upcoming ones by Applause Entertainment and Amazon India.
She has acted in over 25 stage productions with directors such as Mahesh Dattani, Kaizad Kotwal, Ashok Purung, Salima Raza, Saif Hassan, Ranjit Kapoor, Dinesh Thakur, etc.
In commercials she has appeared for brands such as Dark Fantasy chocolate, Greenlam, Philips Light, Daily Hunt, Horlicks, Hit, LG ACs, Maruti, Parachute Oil and Vodafone.
